Super Distance Summit

Scott Simmons is the coach of nationally ranked NCAA DII Queens University of Charlotte He also coaches the athletes of the American Distance Project and is the co-author of the book Take The Lead: A Revolutionary Approach To Coaching Cross Country. He has led his college teams to five national championships and is a six-time NAIA National Coach of the Year.

Pyramid style training has been one of the most commonly used methods in America. Coach Smmons explains why he feels that pyramid is the wrong way to go about training athletes.
