Scott Simmons is the coach of nationally ranked NCAA DII Queens University of Charlotte He also coaches the athletes of the American Distance Project and is the co-author of the book Take The Lead: A Revolutionary Approach To Coaching Cross Country. He has led his college teams to five national championships and is a six-time NAIA National Coach of the Year. During the initial panel discussion, Coach Simmons briefly discussed his coaching philosophy. Now he goes into more detail.
