Scott Simmons is the coach of nationally ranked NCAA DII Queens University of Charlotte He also coaches the athletes of the American Distance Project and is the co-author of the book Take The Lead: A Revolutionary Approach To Coaching Cross Country. He has led his college teams to five national championships and is a six-time NAIA National Coach of the Year. You want your athletes to be at their best at the end of the season for the big race but that's not always the case. Coach Simmons explores why that might be.
